A very special visiter.

I was waiting for my sister and her husband to arrive

when this little friend turned up.

He was so friendly.But I put him back on the grass again

after we had our little chat.

Flying High

This has got to be the most fun I have had for $10.oo in a long time.

I am having some friends to my place in a few weeks. I decided to make it a theme of "Come fly with me and encorouge them to bring up kites.

I thought I had better test the idea out and picked on up the other day for only $10.oo

A short while ago with the wind blowing strongly on this mountain top and with feet that had decided to co-operate out I went.

The guy in the toy shop had said I would probably need someone there to launch it.

Not so this little baby was aero dynamically designed for easy lift off.

After first giving my self a string cut and then realising I should take the rubber band off the tail it was up up and away.

I am so glad no one could hear me.

I hooped and hollowed as it hit the skies. With very little effort I could have it responding to the different wind directions that I was getting.

It was just tottal absorbtion.

That is it wedged in my bathroom windows so I could photograph it for posterity. I think it could be addictive.

Someone is supposed to be opening a Hang Gliding place down the other end of the mountain range. Not very far from me. I fancy hanging over my balcony fence offering a glass of Champagne to colourfull passers by.

My Earth Angel

I got myself an Earth Angel ornament for my bush Chappel .

I found her at Magicality Gympie.

Now I will need a plinth for her to go on.

I have just laybyed her to draw out the pleasure and to have time to create her resting place.

That is my first Decoration for that special place.

My wash tub fish and Lilly pond

This morning my fish pond was had clear water for the first time since moving up here.So I took these photos.It was a while till I realised that it was because I had left the hose running into it .Me being on tank water and all. Still the run off went to a Pointsiana Tree I have planted for pivatol shading so thats not so bad.

For now it is wonderful to have that little retreat just as it is.But slowly I am dreaming up the Altar ,seating hallways etc.
